The Farm Resorts

The Farm Resorts, on the banks of the Castlereigh Reservoir, is a tranquil haven nestled in the hill country of Sri Lanka. This humble corner of the world is the ideal stop for those who wish to ascend the Adam’s Peak due to its close proximity to it (around 1hr). It is the best way to experience the beauty of the hill country, surrounded by tea plantations and the hum of nature. Accommodation is split between Chalets and Bungalows providing the much needed relaxation and views of the Castlereigh Lake and the outlying pine trees. Each of the bungalows, which is rented as a unit, has 2 well-appointed bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms.

There is nothing more restful than lounging on the hammocks and lounging on the chairs looking out to the water and rolling mountains. However, if you’re feeling a little more active, kayaking, boating and hikes through the neighbouring tea plantations can quite easily be arranged while cooking class would be a great indoor activity to be arranged.
