Explore Hidden the kingdom of Kotte

Right in the capital of Colombo, the travelers will be able to explore the Kingdom of Kotte, which is long forgotten even amongst the locals through Sensory Indulgences – one of our local supplying partner. The Kingdom of Kotte although not popularly spoken about, played a pivotal part in shaping the political landscape of Sri Lanka leading to the island’s colonization. The journey will be on two wheels (mountain bikes) with a host who will make the story of the kingdom of Kotte come to life with tales of love, deceit, humor and political coups.

You will meet your host at a central location in Kotte, where he will give you a small brief of the experience including health and safety, before starting the bike ride. They will also encounter a few species of birds as there is a protected bird sanctuary close by. The adventure will conclude at the Kotte Museum, learning about future preservation and excavations plans for this ancient kingdom. Travelers will be provided with safety helmets, water, king coconut, entrance fees and pilot vehicle with first aid kit.
